Maksym Chalyi: Growing Through Continuous Learning and Engineering Excellence
As part of our information marathon dedicated to ProfITsoft’s 25th anniversary, we continue introducing the people whose expertise and dedication drive the growth of our products and company.
Maksym Chalyi’s journey at ProfITsoft began with an internship as an Intern Java Fullstack Developer. Here, he gained his first commercial development experience and had the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who helped shape the foundation of his engineering career.
Over the years, Maksym has contributed to the development of insurance products, implementation of new functionality, integrations, enhancement of existing solutions, and support of business-critical features. His experience includes Java backend development, REST integrations, business process implementation, document generation, data export, and tariff calculation functionality — all of which directly impact product quality and user experience.
What stands out most is his desire not only to write quality code but also to understand the business processes behind technical solutions. This approach enables him to analyze requirements deeply, pay close attention to details, and deliver reliable, high-quality implementations.
Beyond project work, Maksym continuously develops his engineering expertise by deepening his knowledge of Java, software design, multithreading, database technologies, and modern development practices.
Maksym would also like to acknowledge the people who played an important role in his professional growth: Ihor Losinskiy, who served as his mentor and helped him take his first steps in professional software development, and Alex Demchenko for his support, guidance, and contribution to his career development within the company.
